New Work!
I havent posted new work in a long long time. Nobody reads this anyways (yet) so it doesn't matter. However, Here is a project i just completed for my sculptural forms class. The assignment was intimate scale as it relates to the hand. I collected a whole bunch of crack vials (always with the crack vials) and made them into rings. The whole class went to the park where I collected the majority of the vials (which is less than 50 yards from the building we hold class in and I placed the rings on everyone's left ring finger. It was intended to serve as a reminder to the people in my class (representative of the MICA community) that drug use is rampant in the community of which MICA is a part. The response was good and two kids in the class actually found a crack pipe in the bushes during the crit which proved my point better than the rings could have. Here are the pictures:
